Ron Borovinsky
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Borovinsky has a decade of executive experience in the real estate industry, with particular focus on distressed real estate and team building/management. He is dedicated to bringing the industry to new heights in technology, design, and procedures.

Prior to founding Arbie Development, in 2008 Ron co-founded My Ideal Property (MIP), focusing on distressed 1-4 family properties in New York City. Over an 8 year period, with no outside capital, the company sourced, renovated, and divested over 500 residential projects while building a staff of 100 employees throughout five NYC offices.

Ron led the recruitment and training of his own team of 15, sourcing an average of 10-12 distressed properties per month and realizing an annual average of $45M in newly acquired distressed debt per year. He also led a team of software engineers in the creation of a proprietary Customer Relationship Management software that researches millions of properties in New York City by employing sophisticated real estate domain algorithms. This software still processes business flow for the Deal Sourcing, Short Sale, Evictions, Legal, and Construction departments at MIP, and was instrumental in bringing organization and new businesses to MIP. At the time of Ron’s exit from the company in 2015, MIP had in excess of $100M AUM and was negotiating a pipeline of $225M in outstanding distressed mortgage debt to be purchased.

Ron is now applying the same executive vision, organization, and leadership skills to Arbie Development. In Arbie, he has created an ambitious development and construction company that currently employs a team of 20 professionals in acquisitions/disposition, asset management, construction, finance and operations.

Ron is a devoted husband to his wife and enjoys spending time with their 3 children and 2 dogs.
